Implementation of Forest Restoration Activities
Since most forests in the state belong to communities or individuals, forest operations are conducted by communities with support from FED or the Forest Departments of the ADCs. A Village Project Implementation Committee is constituted for implementing the forest restoration activities at the village level. The VPIC prepares a plan for forest management, including usage.
